Has anyone had any experience in investing with SPACs (Special Purpose Acquisition Companies), aka 'Blank Check Companies'?
The area seems to be quite interesting and offer a number of investment possibilities. I would be very interested to hear some thoughts on the area as I am mulling writing on it soon....
Cheers

There was a SPAC called SVI which Jamba Juice did a reverse merger with to go public. Other interesting ones you should examine are Global Logistics (GLA), and HD Partners Acquisition (HDP). They both are in the process of buying successful busineses. Two other which closed purchases and done well are Great Lakes Dredge and Dock (GLDD) and Kapstone Paper (KPPC)
